The first volume of reports on reef condition in the Western Atlantic developed from the Atlantic Gulf Rapid Reef Assessment Program (AGRRA) has been published as Volume 496 of the Atoll Research Bulletin distributed by the Smithsonian Institution.. This volume of 630 pages edited by Dr. Judith Lang, contains reports on reef condition using the AGRRA Protocol from 20 reef areas of the Greater Caribbean; they extend from Los Roques, Venezuela to Abaco in the Bahamas, include two reef areas in the Gulf of Mexico, one from Brazil and several from the Caribbean. Subscribers to the Atoll Research Bulletin will receive their copies of this volume in the next few weeks. Those who wish to purchase copies may do so by sending a check or money order for $20 payable in US dollars, which sum includes shipping and handling to addresses in the United States only to: University of Miami, RSMAS/AGRRA, 4600 Rickenbacker Cswy. Miami, FL 33149. Those wishing to pay with a credit card (only Visa and Master Card are accepted) can fax their orders to (305) 361-4094 or (305) 361-4632. These fax orders must contain the card number, the Name of the card holder as it appears on the card, expiration date, and authorized signature. Orders for copies to be shipped outside the United States must include an additional $6 for surface mail ( 4-6 weeks delay) The cost of air mail to countries other than the United States is about $15 depending on the country to which it is sent.
